Customer Review I don't know what to think of this one. - 2.5 out of 5  (10/16/2000) Lucia (Charlotte Rampling), wife to a composer (and a concentration camp survivor) meets Max (Dirk Bogarde), night porter at a fancy hotel she checks into (and the same man who used to torture her in the concentration camps). This can't be good, right? Max is currently hiding from his past, and is involved with a group of his fellow SS officers who conduct bizarre "trials" which involve eliminating all witnesses to their cruelties.
