On the evening of April 10, 1996, 400 lucky people witnessed the public re-emergence of Alice in Chains on the MTV Unplugged stage in New York. This is the band's first performance after a three year hiatus from the stage. The band proved again that they are one of the greatest performing bands in music today. The 13 song set highlights material from the band's albums Dirt and Alice In Chains and the Ep's SAP and Jar of Flies. The band's acoustically based Ep's provide a number of great songs that come to life on this DVD including "Brother" and "Got Me Wrong," "No Excuses" and the plaintive "Nutshell" from Jar of Flies.
Re-visit this magical performance for the first time on DVD in Dolby Digital multichannel surround sound.
This video features three performances not seen on the MTV broadcast including "Frogs," "Angry Chair" and a brand new song, "The Killer Is Me."

A "Must have" for Unplugged series !! - 4 out of 5 (5/30/2000)
One of the Alice In Chains' best live performances with an incredible Layne Staley's voice.
Considered one of the best 3 Unplugged concerts, even, for many this was the best.
All 13 songs are unique in renewed versions and there are no disposable songs.
Very good selection for people that likes good music an keeps the "unplugged" feeling alive.
