Batman Begins explores the origins of the Batman legend and the Dark Knight's emergence as a force for good in Gotham. In the wake of his parents' murder, disillusioned industrial heir Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travels the world seeking the means to fight injustice and turn fear against those who prey on the fearful. He returns to Gotham and unveils his alter-ego: Batman, a masked crusader who uses his strength, intellect and an array of high tech deceptions to fight the sinister forces that threaten the city.

Holy Film Batman! - 4.5 out of 5 (10/24/2005)
This was one hell of a movie! Finally, someone got this comic-franchise portrayed correctly onto film. Not only is this film fun, but it has great action along with great acting! This is probably the only film that I have watched as much, if not more, than the Star Wars films! It's that good! I can't stop watching this movie!
The DVD is good, but not great. The movie is presented in 5.1, but lacks any of the other options like THX or DTS. Both would have made watching this movie on D

The Best Batman Yet! - 3.75 out of 5 (10/20/2005)
I thought this showed a more serious side of The Dark Knight, rather than the previous movies, which were more comical versions. The only letdown was the voice Christian Bale used when in costume. Other than that, a real good movie.

Forget the other Batman movies! - 4.5 out of 5 (10/19/2005)
This one is by far the best Batman movie ever brought to the screen! The other ones are ok for the kids, but this one was gripping and not filled with corny comedy that chokes the life out of the movie like the others did...
Hopefully future films will be made in this vain...
