The Saga Is Complete...But What About The DVD Releases? - 4 out of 5 (10/31/2005)
I have to admit that I'm not the Star Wars fan I was pre-1999. George Lucas' prequel trilogy has taken much of my devotion to the series away - thanks to movies that were visually spectacular, but thin on plot and wooden in performance. But at least Revenge Of The Sith marks the last time I'll be let down by Star Wars - unless you count the umpteenth revisions you just know are coming in future DVD releases of the movie...and the upcoming TV series...and the 3-D ver

Star Wars Prequel #3 = B++ - 4.5 out of 5 (12/1/2005)
Okay, it's done. All the 911 we knew in '78 from reading interviews in everything from Rolling Stone to Starlog, has finally come to pass, and although it didn't happen as wonderfully as we imagined it -- "it happened," just like it says on the bumber sticker.

25+ Year wait is finally over! - 4 out of 5 (11/2/2005)
As a teenager, I vividly remember how Star Wars totally enthralled me. I remember walking out of the theatre, wishing it wasn't over and not being able to imagine any movie ever being better. Such a high bar was set by that experience, none of the other episodes has come close to reaching it. Quality of the entire production has improved with each new episode, but the magic of the first one has yet to be reproduced. This episode, however, comes close. To finally have the saga complet

The prequel trilogy --and the saga-- finally comes full circle in this satisfyingly dramatic entry. - 4.75 out of 5 (11/2/2005)
It is difficult for me to evaluate the Star Wars movies individually because each has been intended to be viewed as one whole saga. But for the record, STAR WARS: EPISODE III--REVENGE OF THE SITH is a definite step-up from its flawed yet serviceable predecessors, THE PHANTOM MENACE and ATTACK OF THE CLONES, respectively. Whereas the aforementioned prequels took their time to set up exposition, this one unfolds at such a fierce, kinetic pace that you'll be hanging on for dear life.
