It's Not As Deep As You Think.
The Muppets are back in a new zany comedy, Muppets From Space. The Muppets embark on a hilarious extraterrestrial adventure in hopes of finding out about Gonzo's past, and discover that Gonzo's family members are aliens from a distant planet!
Gonzo then gets a message that his relatives are coming for a visit... from outer space! But when word gets out on Miss Piggy's talk show, UFP Mania, that the friendly aliens are coming, a secret government agency led by K. Edgar Singer (Jeffrey Tambor) captures Gonzo and goes to great lengths to learn when his extra-terrestrial family will arrive.
Now only the Muppets, led by Kermit and Miss Piggy, can save Gonzo and make the world safe for a friendly alien invasion!

It's 10:00 at night and I can't wait for my wife to go to bed so she can't see what I'm gonna watch on the DVD player. She goes in the bedroom and I shut the door and turn on the machine. I'm sitting back there watching and she walks out and catches me watching "Muppets in Space."
Oh, the horror!
Okay, I'm jesting. She actually finished it with me. I think it's a well-kept secret that all adults love the Muppets, and why shouldn't they?

MUPPETS from DVD - 4.75 out of 5 (12/7/1999)
Well, what can I say, this was a muppet movie. Filled with guest cameos and hillarious situations. And of course, the singing, and because it is a muppet movie, you can expect them to break out in song at any moment. For instance, when they wake up in the morning they sing "She's a brick house" followed by Kermit saying, "Way to get down with your bad selves." A fairly good movie on an excellent DVD. - 4.75 out of 5 (10/29/1999)
Muppets from Space isn't the Muppets best and isn't all that great as far as a muppet movie (what can you excpect with Henson gone?).
The disc is simply beautiful a ton of extra features including a funny commentry track with the muppet characters. As far as the transfer, MFS is anamorphic and filmed at 1.85 and looks great.
