In one small bottle…The fountain of youth. The secret of eternal life. The power of an ancient potion. Sometimes it works…sometimes it dosen't.
Helen and Madeline hate each other. Madeline is married to Ernest, who is having an affair with Helen. Both women rely on Ernest for plastic surgery for their continued good looks, so when Madeline finds a cure for ageing, Helen gets it too. It isn't until both become immortal that they realise that 'life' will never be the same again.

It doesn't get any funnier than this - 4.25 out of 5 (12/17/2001)
Outstanding special effects, great acting by Willis, Hawn, and Streep. Shows just how far some people will go in an absolutely hilarious way.

Great film. Terrible DVD - 2.5 out of 5 (1/2/2001)
This film is one of the funniest and most visually stunning films ever made. As to why Universal released it on DVD in full-screen format with little to no features...who knows?! I already have a copy of this gem on VHS. There is no reason to waste money for a DVD that merely equals the audio and visual quality of the VHS tape! When Universal re-releases Death Becomes Her in a true DVD format I'll be the first in line to buy it!

Very original - 3.25 out of 5 (5/10/1999)
This is an underrated wacky film by Robert Zemeckes. It should be noted that it has some of the best special effects of its time as well. The humor is not for everyone, though.
The video quality is pixelated AND full screen, both are bad for DVD. The audio is only average. There is a little 5 minute featurette, but that is not much.
Check this out to see if you like it.
