When Nature Fights Back!
Kyle Williams (Matthew Le Nevez) thought that taking the new post of sheriff in the sleepy town of Bywater would be exactly the change of pace he needed. But the peaceful town is not what it seems. While investigating a series of gruesome murders, Kyle discovers that the locals are hiding a frightening secret. Torn between whom and what to believe, the only straight answers he receives are from the feisty young schoolteacher Teri (Rachael Taylor). Together they embark on a quest to unravel the truth.

Man-Thing Review - 2.5 out of 5 (6/21/2005)
When it comes to marquee comic book characters ripe for movie adaptations, Man-Thing doesn't exactly leap to the top of the list. An odd Swamp Thing rip-off from the 70s, he wasn't exactly a beloved character by any stretch of the means. Man-Thing is Horror Flick for Teens - 3.25 out of 5 (11/17/2005)
This movie is based on the Marvel comic "Man-Thing" from the early 1970's. I remember reading it when I was a kid and sharing it with my friends. I was thrilled when Brett Leonard decided to create a movie about it. For those unfamiliar with the story of "Man-Thing," an obnoxious oilman drills wells in a sacred Seminole swamp called "Dark Water" and awakens a supernatural creature.
