Tommy Gavin (Denis Leary) is a lifesaver. Excellent TV series - 4.75 out of 5 (7/18/2005)
I bought this set without having seen a single episode. I expected to watch it once and then sell it online. I am now adding it to my permanent collection. The characters are so beautifully flawed, the humor is just so perfectly done, the writing is phenomenal... you cannot go wrong with this set. Give it a shot; I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Intriguing Series... - 4 out of 5 (7/5/2005)
I'm a firefighter and have been since 1997. This TV Series doesn't focus too much on the technicality of the job but the scenarios in and out of the fire house are right on point. The added drama thoughout the cast's personal lives make the series even more entertaining. You don't have to be a firefighter to relate to this series because when it comes to action, drama, comedy and intimacy in a television series, RESCUE ME is the total package.
