Empire Review An odd-squad! - 3.25 out of 5  (3/7/2000) I figured I'd try something new with this review of "The Mod Squad" and let my niece write it. You see the movie was made for a younger audience who would identify with the characters and so it is fitting that she write the review. So without further ado, here she is. Like Ohmygawd! After watching one of the most recent re-births, "The Mod Squad", I think studios should think twice before considering to remake a certain show. Now, in some instances, the remakes have been good. I think that "Mission Impossible" is a great film, and even better than the original show. I also enjoyed "Sgt. Bilko" and "Wild Wild West" as well, but the new Mod Squad has nothing much to offer.
