Finally! One of the best television series of the 1980s has gotten its first two seasons released on DVD, and for fans of Moonlighting, the wait has been worth it!
Moonlighting was one of the first hour-long TV shows that was basically a comedy - although it turned into more of a "dramedy" as the seasons progressed (and the show lost a lot of it's creative spark when it became more soap-operish in those latter seasons). Really fun! - 3.25 out of 5 (10/10/2005)
Ah, the mid-'80s! Big hair, big shoulder pads, satin blouses, and a new guy called Bruce Willis. We'd never seen a leading man quite like him before - so fresh (in every sense), so funny, good at both action and romance - a complete original. Some of the writing is brilliant, some only good, but never poor. Still one of the wittiest shows ever on TV.
