For teenager Les Anderson (Corey Haim), the two most important things in life are getting his driver's license and getting together with the hottest girl in high school (Heather Graham in one of her first film roles). But when Les fails the exam, he 'borrows' the family's prized '73 Cadillac for his big date. An innocent girl. A harmless drive. What could possibly go wrong? Of all the "teeny bopper" films that came out of the 1980s, License To Drive is one of the most entertaining - namely because it's one of the few where all the characters are fleshed-out, and where the adults are as intelligent and as fun to watch as the kids are. In fact, the real reason to make sure License To Drive gains a spot on your permanent DVD shelf isn't because of stars Corey Haim and Corey Feldman, but because of the great turns by adult actors Richard Masur, Carol Kan

this is one of my favorite movies yes i said it License To drive it always puts me in a great mood whenever i watch it Corey Haim is so cool in the movie as Les and Heather Graham who can forget how beautiful she was as Merceds Lane then theres Corey Feldaman as Dean he was wild i love this movie!! god bless License To Drive!!!!

for Les Anderson all he wants is the girl of his dreams Merceds Lane and a car he falis his drivers exam takes out his grandfathers catillic takes the girl out girl gets drunk guy and friends go out to Archies dad gets furious at son mom goes into labor wow a great black comedy with the 2 Corey's!!!
