Customer Review Unexpectedly powerful - 3.75 out of 5  (9/9/2005) The subject matter does not inspire great expectations. Yet, this movie is extraordinarily well done. The humanity of the main character is explored. The audience develops some empathy for him while being repulsed by some of his past activities and worried by some of his current temptations. It deserved the awards it garnered at film festivals. This film "knocked my socks off."   more >>
