Having read the script let me just say that not unlike many other scripts, the director takes liberty with the material, however, in this instance, I really feel that the movie would have been much more effective had Schumacher left it alone.The film deals with a Private Investigator(Nicolas Cage) and his downward spiral into the underworld of smut films, which essentially are pornographic "urban legends." I love this movie. it was great.
