What if you were told that every moment you experienced andievery memory you held dear never happened?
Nine year old Sam Paretta is dead, killed in a plane crash. Even though it's been fourteen months since the accident, his mother, Telly (Julianne Moore, Far From Heaven), still grieves over the loss. But suddenly, her husband (Anthony Edwards, ER) swears they never had a child and her psychiatrist (Gary Sinise, C.S.I.:NY) insists she's delusional. But worst of all, there is absolutely no evidence to prove Sam ever existed. Haunted by the memories of her son, Telly's search for the truth propels her into a dark mind-shattering conspiracy of unearthly terror.

I Remember Writing This Review...Or Do I Just Think I Wrote It?! - 3.75 out of 5 (1/24/2005)
The Forgotten is one of those movies that is very hard to review. Not because I have ambivalent feelings about it as a film - but because I'm one of those reviewers that hates to give away plot twists to the audience, and The Forgotten is one of those flicks that has several juicy plot twists.
What I can tell you is that Julianne Moore stars as Telly Paretta, a woman who may or may not have lost a son in a plane crash 14 months before the beginning of the story told in this mov

Not what you would expect - 4 out of 5 (4/26/2005)
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised after watching this film. It was a completely different genre than what I had first thought going in. I happen to think that the acting is quite good and simply adds to the hidden quality of this film. There were some pretty brief, scary moments in the film which I always enjoy. This is not one of those "surprise endings" movies, but does have a different plot revealed during the film that will surprise you.
