The definative last installment of the greatest trilogy ever - 5 out of 5 (12/15/2004)
For three years now, the end of the year has brought an extended edition of one of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Now, with a bittersweet mix of emotions, the tale is told, all the editions have been placed on DVD and The Shire is at last at peace. As with the previous installments of the trilogy, New Line was always up front with us, the faithful purchasers of their wares, that this edition was coming and when it would be released. What a collection! - 5 out of 5 (1/11/2005)
Well, this is the last DVD collection of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. There is not much left to say that hasn't already been mentioned in my previous reviews. The movie is fantastic and the special features are just as marvelous! I just hope that more movies in the future are made to this caliber. DVDs should also be made with this much detail and care.
