Synopsis Talk about livin' large! Empire Review Great for the kids - 3.25 out of 5  (10/18/2004) There are some that might scoff at the power of the big fat orange cat named GARFIELD. But Fox took a gamble on the film to the tune of 50 Million and to date it has grossed over three times that worldwide. If you think about it, 300 percent profit is a lot of Lasagna. It probably also explains why we have FAT ALBERT AND THE COSBY KIDS coming out theatrically on Christmas Day. To be fair, GARFIELD is not for everyones taste.
