Sanity seeps away...one drop atia time.
Yoshimi simply wanted a better life - for both herself and her daughter Ikuko. Unfortunately, such wishes may sometimes be hard to come by. The custody battle for her daughter has grown embittered and hurtful, her new job is less than desirable, and Ikuko's school work has taken a turn for he worse.
But Yoshimi has something bigger to worry about. Something upstairs. Something cold and dark. Something that never should have been.
From director Hideo Nakata (Ringu, The Ring 2) and renowned Japanese novelist Koji Suzuki (The Ring) comes a film that brings out a new level of fear hidden in the depths and buried far from memory.
