Aaron Prays, Christian Plays...Opposites Attract.
From C. Jay Cox, the writer of the hit comedy Sweet Home Alabama, comes a heartwarming and tender gay romantic drama that combines laughs, seduction, tears, and plenty of romance. The handsome Aaron (Steve Sandvoss), a Mormon missionary, travels door-to-door in Los Angeles spreading the word of his religion. Christian (Wes Ramsey), a cute West Hollywood party boy, goes from man-to-man without much commitment. Opposites attract when Aaron and Christian meet, and sparks begin to fly. Featuring two star-making performances from Sandvoss and Ramsey, the film also features a terrific supporting cast including Mary Kay Place (Sweet Home Alabama), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Third Rock From The Sun) and international screen legend Jacqueline Bisset.

A Wonderful Film! - 5 out of 5 (1/11/2005)
This looked like it might have been another fluffy gay slice-of-life film from the jacket blurb. But it isn't: I was taken aback by how good it was. A sensitive, funny, moving script; magnificent performances from all the cast; and a depth of feeling usually absent from films of this type. Of course, many gay films have sentiment-- too much so; it either tends to be on the mawkish side, or the acerbic, and usually noticeably forced. This is one of two recent films which avoid the pitfalls.
