Sometimes love can be murder
Two unlikely people are brought together over a corpse in this offbeat thriller by acclaimed writer Paul Abbott (Cracker, Touching Evil, Reckless).
Greg Brentwood (Michael Kitchen) throws an elegant surprise party for his wife Linda (Phyllis Logan) only to wind up on the receiving end of an unnerving surprise himself. Later that evening, Marcey (Sophie Okonedo), a catering waitress for the party, returns to find Greg standing over the lifeless body of one of the guests. He nervously convinces Marcey that what she is witnessing is the result of a terrible accident and gets her to help dispose of the corpse. As events unfold and the cause of death appears more and more unclear, she fears that she may have become involved with a murderer.
