Not your daddy's Dawn Of The Dead - 4 out of 5 (10/22/2004)
For the record, this ain't your daddy's DAWN OF THE DEAD.
And also on the record, I will admit that I was one of the ones groaning when it was announced that sequel was being filmed. But against my better judgement, I went to see the movie in the theater and I was very impressed.

Solid horror; less than solid picture - 3.75 out of 5 (11/15/2004)

The one downside is the picture. It's anamorphic, but the image is not very good at all when compared to what's possible nowadays..

But when I watched it again as an adult I found it had lost it's original charm. That's not to say it's not a brilliant movie, it's just that the new version is far more nightmarish and oddly more touching than a lot of people have given it credit for.
I love this film and must have watched it over twenty times already. One of the best horror f
