Empire Review Fun to watch and it requires very little thought - 3.5 out of 5  (9/28/2004) I'm of two different minds about the film WALKING TALL The first more critical mind says that it's a movie that could use a little more character development, that it moves too quickly, and that it needs to better make use of the acting chops of The Rock as well as the muscle chops. The other mind though thinks that this is a perfect popcorn movie. But thats good for an action movie. Don't let the PG13 rating fool you, this is still very intense and cool. With great performances, hot women-- Ashley Scott looks amazing and her acting is great! The rock is setting himself up as a great actor, Knoxville gives a excellent performance as well. The features are nice to, The Rock commentary is amazing, plus we get a track from the d   more >> Customer Review This Movie Rocks!!! - 5 out of 5  (10/4/2004) This movie is a cool makeover of the original trilogy to the Walking Tall. They crammed all three originals into this one. I really like the movie, because of the action and the main actor Rock from WWE. He was also in The Scorpion King and The Rundown. The Rock was also on an NFL team. Walking Tall is a must for the DVD collection.   more >>
