She's missing.
FBI. CIA. Secret Service. Black Ops. Robert Scott is all of these. And none of these. His newest assignment: find the possibly kidnapped daughter of a high government official before the story leaks.
That assignment provides the frame to which filmmaker David Mamet (Hannibal, Glengarry Glen Ross) adds suspense, bold twists, his trademark flair for dialogue and the acting of a superb ensemble to create a film "that stands with the best work he's done. Political thrillers don't come any better" (David Sterritt, The Christian Science Monitor. Val Kilmer plays Scott, the off-the-books special agent who's deep undercover and, little does he know, deeper in danger. Fall in step with Scott and let the story reveal itself as he lives it. And if he survives it. Expect the unexpected.

Great twists - 3.75 out of 5 (7/22/2004)
This movie went under the radar. It is well directed, well filmed, and well acted. Val Kilmer is awesome in this movie. I can't believe that this film didn't do better at the box office. It just goes to show that people only watch mainsteam over hyped, over produced crap films.
