Eccentric dentist Doc Waddems (Newhart) cannot stand mockery...especially on the golf course. When Howard Green (Grammer) distributes it in doses, Waddems takes revenge on his tormentor by sending him to the great putting green in the sky. Waddems then tries to turn the tables as his sensational murder trial draws to a close.
Eugene Levy stars in The Heidi Bowl, the story of an incredible true event that happened on November 17, 1968 and has since become a date of landmark significance for American football fans. As the broadcast of a championship game comes to its climactic closing moments, the unthinkable happens. The incident left the sporting nation in shock, created civil unrest in the streets and changed live sports broadcast forever.
