Biker Cary Ford lives to ride. Now he's riding to live. The Reapers biker gang wants him for a murder he did not commit. Not as bad as I feared - 4 out of 5 (5/3/2004)
TORQUE is a western on two wheels.
It took me halfway through the film to figure it out, but I did because I was too bored by the lack of any pertinent dialogue, while being simultaneously overwhelmed by the sheer flow of testosterone.
But getting back to the basics, TORQUE was made almost a year ago and it sat on a shelf to avoid competing with BIKER BOYZ which was the other film to make an attempt at cutting the wheels in half while doubling the action.

Ruined by special effects stunts - 3 out of 5 (6/7/2004)
Having seen Triple X, Fast & Furious - 1 & 2 ...
I was a bit disappointed when they got to the "bike dualling' and fight scenes. The rest of the movie was pretty good.

TORQUE better than Fast & The Furious, XXX, and S.W.A.T. - 4.5 out of 5 (5/24/2004)
TORQUE was probably one of the best biker movie ever made since FAST & THE FURIOUS. The producers of XXX and Fast & The Furious produce this film with a new biker movie. I'm guessing that TORQUE is better than Biker Boyz. TORQUE has a better cast than Biker Boyz does. TORQUE is mainly about Carey Ford (Martin Henderson) rides with his 2 friends Val (Will Yun Lee) and Dalton (Jay Hernandez) along the road when they meet up with the Reaper gangs.
