Crimson Tide is an intense military thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Russian Rebels pose a nuclear threat to the United States. The U.S.S. Alabama, a ballistic missile submarine, is sent out in case the need for a nuclear missile launch becomes necessary. Taking charge of the crew of young soldiers are seasoned Capt. Frank Ramsey and Lt. Cmdr. Ron Hunter.

Best Movie Ever - 4.25 out of 5 (6/8/2001)
I loved this movie, first movie I bough on DVD. Seen it so many time the VHS is almost worn out. However the DVD is lacking in features, but the video and Audio transfer is well done. It would be nice to see a special edition in the future.

Great Movie, Great Action, Great Sound - 4 out of 5 (11/21/1998)
This is really a one great action/war movie with great thrills. Two great actors, head to head.
Denzel Washington as the brilliant executive officer clash over the validity of the orders with
Gene Hackman as the sub's respected commander. As the struggle goes on under then sea, it will
bring you to your edge of your seat. Once again, great production from Don Simpson & Jerry Bruckheimer
together with director, Tony Scott. Watch out for their other movies, like The Rock, Con Air, Armageddon

Some of the best acting around, With special effects! - 4.5 out of 5 (10/17/1998)
Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman give the best head to head performance in a movie that I've ever seen. Hackman is the commander of their submarine and Washington is the Executive officer. Let's just say they fight over the whether or not to start a nuclear holocaust. Absolutely amazing dolby digital sound(the bass is awesome. The picture is near perfect.
