"A terrific action achievement. Andy andiLarry Wachowski have concluded their trilogy with all barrels blazing." - Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times
Neo. Trinity. Morpheus. They and other heroes stand on the brink of victory or annihilation in the epic war against the Machines in the stunning final chapter of the Matrix trilogy. For Neo, that means going where no human has dared - into the heart of Machine City and into a cataclysmic showdown with the exponentially more powerful renegade program Smith. For writer-directors the Wachowski Brothers and producer Joel Silver, that means soaring beyond the amazing visual inventiveness of the first two films. The revolution is now: The Matrix Revolutions.

The final installment of the Matrix trilogy - 4.25 out of 5 (4/6/2004)
Sometimes a story is too large to tell in a single film, the story lines have to be spread out over several films, typically three. If it wasn't for the phenomenal success of the Lord of the Rings the Matrix trilogy just may have been the top of the line in popular film trilogies. With the film Matrix Revolutions the loose ends and mysteries are not all resolved but there is a sense of satisfaction to the concluding film of this set. Usually a trilogy follows a set pattern, the first installment

Don't waste your time! - 3.25 out of 5 (8/3/2004)
I loved the Matrix. I loved the Matrix Reloaded. I absolutely HATED Matrix Revolutions! It's god awful! Here's the breakdown: The first film was phenomenal because it wasn't just a movie, but a philosophical idea. The idea that our world (as we have come to know it) is not at all what we have learned. It really played tricks on the mind. On top of that, the movie had incredible special effects see for the first time. Now, with the second film, the filmmakers took all the successful parts of

Great film - 4.5 out of 5 (7/6/2004)
Though many in the media as well as the movie-going public claimed "The Matrix: Revolutions" was confusing, I beg to differ. This film, if you watch it two or three times, will keep offering pieces of plot-driven information you didn't fully understand after the first viewing. This was true for me, and for most other people as well. Thus the negative reviews. But, after watching this film two more times at home on DVD, a larger picture of the story unfolds. And it is beautiful, large-scale, and
