Did we really need this? - 4.25 out of 5 (1/4/2001)
History has shown us that some people made some really bad decisions. I give as example:
1) Richard Nixon thinking that nobody would miss those eighteen minutes!
2) Milli Vanilli doing a live performance
3) New Coke, Nuff Said!
I give these examples because I'm trying to make a point that though their heart may have been in the matters, their heads weren't.
I suppose it was much the same with Gus Van Sant when he decided to make "Psycho" a shot by shot comparison of the original

I was let down with this film.Get the original
instead.The characters arent well-fit in this film.
The person who plays norman is a big let down.
Features were full enough.Menu screen was great.
But with this price it is still too much for a film like this.

a great remake - 5 out of 5 (6/25/1999)
film- i thought the film was very good. i saw the origenal. so i thought i should buy this. so i did and i liked it. vince vaughn wasnt very good as the part as norman.but he was very very creepy when he smiled at the end.
features- the features were very good to.but i wish i could use the screen saver. but i dont have a dvd rom.tyhe making of it was a half an hour.that was very good to. the trailer was great to.
audio- the audio was wonderful
