Jack is back - 4 out of 5 (3/15/2004)
It's hard to imagine Jack Black in a family film, but that just what he manages to pull off in SCHOOL OF ROCK.
Perhaps that 's why the film took the critical world by storm. It took a mainstream movie to do it, but finally the Hollywood world is recognizing Jack Black for the powerhouse of entertainment that he is. In fact, even if you are not a Tenacious D fan, then you still have to admit that his duet with Will Ferrell at this years' Oscar ceremony was the only thing worth watching. Here'

Jack Black Best Performance! 2004 DVD of the Year! - 5 out of 5 (3/15/2004)
School of Rock is a powerful rock n roll performance and hilarious with smart rock n roll sequences. Dewey Finn (Black) is a diehard rock guitarist fired from his band and ended up with no job. His roommate Ned Schneebly (White) has a job to be a substitute at a Prep School filled with kids. When Ned was gone, the prinicipal (Cusack) called for Ned instead Dewey made a replacement and his job now is a substitute teacher. Dewey begins to feel for these students because he saw the students playing

Don't waste your time, or money. - 2.5 out of 5 (3/10/2004)
This film was such a waste. It's not funny at all. The acting is really sad, and so is the story, Jack Black, what happened? Maybe if your about 10 years old you might like this film a little, but even I don't think so. Stay away from this one.
