Is considered a truly inspired cinematic collaboration between director Steven Soderberg and the master of monologue, Spalding Gray. This somewhat autobiographical tale is a comical look at Gray's middle-age angst, with its impending mortality and, in his case, sight distortion in his left eye. After being diagnosed with a rare and mysterious eye condition, Gray recalls his hilarious and obsessive pursuits into alternative healing. His mission takes him on different cultural adventures; to a Native American Sweat Ceremony involving mass nude encounters In a sweatbox; to a debilitating raw vegetable diet guru; and, most memorably, a trip to the Philippines to try out the "Elvis Presley of psychic surgeons."

Talk To Me - 4.5 out of 5 (1/8/2002)
I began watching this movie on accident and you don't think you have it in you to watch some guy you don't even know sitting in a chair telling a story for nearly an hour and a half, but I found myself looking at the scrolling credits thinking about this revelation in cinematography.
