In the tradition of The Princess Diaries, Disney's Freaky Friday is the extremely funny and heartwarming comedy everyone will love. Dr. Tess Coleman (the hilarious Jamie Lee Curtis) and her teenage daughter Anna (rockin' Lindsay Lohan) have one thing in common - they don't relate to each other on anything. Not clothes or men or Anna's passion to be in a rock band. Nothing. Then one night a little mystic mayhem changes their lives and they wake up to the biggest freak-out ever. Tess and Anna are trapped inside each other's body! But Tess's wedding is Saturday, and the two must find a way to switch back - fast! Literally forced to walk in each other's shoes, will they gain respect and understanding for the other's point of view? Filled with comedy, rock 'n' roll and lots of heart, Freaky Friday is freaking fun every one can enjoy together.

It's freaky but it's also great fun - 4 out of 5 (12/19/2003)
Remakes come a dime a dozen these days but a precious few equal the original film. Fewer yet surpass it.
FREAKY FRIDAY belongs in the latter category. It works as a comedy. It works as a lesson film, and most of all it works as a star vehicle. The credit that it works on all of those levels belongs mostly to the credit of the talented cast. Particularly the principles Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.

Freaky Friday is cute, fun, and hilarious film. Dr. Tess Coleman (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her teenage daughter Anna (Lindsay Lohan)have something in common by not relating each other on clothes, men, and rock n roll. One day when the family went to a Chinese Restuarant, the owner gave a mysterious fortune cookie and later the next day the mother & daughter switch their souls into dauther & mom's body. Now, Anna is in her mom's body and her mom is in Anna' body. They freaked out about the accident
