Empire Review A bad idea from the start - 3.5 out of 5  (11/3/2003) Making a sequel to DUMB AND DUMBER was dumb.... Making a sequel to DUMB AND DUMBER and calling it DUMB AND DUMBERER was dumberer..... Making a sequel to DUMB AND DUMBER, calling it DUMB AND DUMBERER and not paying Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels to reprise their roles however was the dumberest move that New Line could have made. The odd thing is that we could have expected a sequel to Dumb and Dumber which turned into one of the first major hits for New Line, but why did they need to mak   more >> Customer Review Hilarious! - 5 out of 5  (11/17/2003) despite what empire's review states... i found this movie to be hilarious. i was a huge fan of the original and i was about 10 when it first come out and here we are almost 10 years later and i still find it amusing. dumb and dumber was the best comedy of the 90's in my opinion. now i know there is noway to ever recreate such a film but they did a decent job of it. i would imigane jim carrey would never demote himself to this kind of work ever again so it would either have to be 2 new ppl playin   more >>
