In two hours, watch a simple armed bank robbery devolve into a circus freak show. Watch a lowly pizza delivery boy achieve his fifteen minutes of fame. Al Pacino plays Sonny Wortzic, an incompetent, sexually confused Vietnam veteran who engineers a disastrous botched robbery of a bank in Prospect Park. His partner in crime is Sal, played by the late John Cazale. Sal has no clue whatsoever.
