I might as well start this review out right by admitting up front that I didn't expect WRONG TURN to be Shakespeare. It's a horror film pure and simple. There are no thee's or thou's, no intricate plot twists and no heaving bodices ( okay, well there are some of those) and most of all there are no fairies in the woods.
Instead we get lots of hacks, slashes and heaving bodices (for the wrong reasons) and some inbred rednecks just looking for a good time. This means that even though the film i

This may be a nominee for the coveted Worst Film Of All Time!! Yep, it's that bad. Remember in Scream where all the character "knew" the slasher flick rules and what not to do? Evidently, these buffoons haven't been to the cinema since, say, 1974. The first couple to get slashed have just had sex and drugs. Might as well mark "DEADMEAT" on their foreheads. WRONG DVD TO BUY! - 2.75 out of 5 (11/3/2003)
This movie is a wannabe horror movie with copycat stories of 'Texas Chainsaw'- 'Deliverence' etc! Not compelling or original in anyway! . Rent this one first! Don't let the movie cover tempt you!
