Empire Review The trip of a lifetime - 3.75 out of 5  (10/13/2003) Whimsy is not a term you hear tossed about much in terms of movies, but it's really the perfect word to describe INTERSTATE 60 which is one of the most pleasant and whimsical films to come about in years. The film was written and directed by Bob Gale (BACK THE THE FUTURE trilogy, USED CARS) and Bob is an old hand at giving us a film filled with alternate takes and realities.
