Tom Cruise does it again in Days of Thunder(just like Top Gun). He is filled with burning passion and talent to purse his dreams. Nicole Kidman plays a doctor that help him to regain his nerve and the true courage needed to race, to win and to live after a fatal accident at the Daytona 500. I was so looking forward to a Dolby 5.1 mix on this film and I was really eager to see those races in widescreen. The video quality of this disc is WAY below average!!! I can't get over it. The crowd scenes are terrible with digital blurriness all over the place. My Fair Lady was cleaned up better than this!!! Thankfully the still shots and calm scenes do look very good.
