Empire Review good movie, lousy DVD - 2.5 out of 5  (8/11/2003) You have to hand it to Director Brian Yuzna for even attempting to make a sequel to RE-ANIMATOR. Because in the world of horror, that film remains a classic in terms of sheer gross out horror. It was a film that was gory, funny and sexy all at the same time and that's the kind of lightning that rarely strikes twice. Given all of that, it's not really a wonder as to why BRIDE OF RE-ANIMATOR didn't fare as well at the box office nor in the secondary market, but I have to stand by the fact   more >>
