At last, all three Indy Jones flicks on DVD! - 5 out of 5 (10/23/2003)
In those days of my youth going to the movies was an event. You got a lot for the price of admission. There was a featured film, one with the best stars of the day, a second feature with somewhat less credentials, a news reel (this was way before CNN), some cartoons and an installment of the action packed serial. A serial was a film cut into fifteen minute or so segments, one segment shown each week. While this format has largely been taken over by television it was a staple of film going for a

If Adventure Has A Name, It Must Be Indiana Jones - 5 out of 5 (10/6/2003)
It's been a long wait, but finally DVD owners will be able to enjoy The Adventures of Indiana Jones in this fantastic 4-DVD set, which is quite possibly the most enjoyable boxed set to be released in 2003.
With all three films presented in anamorphic widescreen and 5.1 Dolby Digital sound, plus a bonus disc loaded with great supplemental footage, these films have been given a great new life on DVD. Watching them again in the digital format was like watching them for the first time in

Indiana Jones Trilogy Never Looked Better ! - 4.5 out of 5 (8/31/2004)
I must say that the guys at Lowry Digital Images who restored and remastered this Trilogy are amazing at what they do, The colors and saturation are awesome, the Dolby digital 5.1 Mix is superb, the LFE channel is used quite a bit and sounds great, especially in Temple of Doom during the Mine chase scene.! there is absouletly
no artifacts on the films, this is " A MUST HAVE"
collection, can't wait for the "STAR WARS TRILOGY"
IN SEPTEMBER!!

That's what I call crisp video.... - 4.5 out of 5 (11/3/2003)
A very good job done on the three films by the Paramount people. The video of each film is one of the most clear and crisp I've ever seen on a DVD. I couldn't rate the sound with 5 stars because we have to accept that there's even better sound for your home theater in many other films on DVD, but anyway, by the time the Indiana Jones films were made there was only Dolby Stereo at the most. I say the same for the features in the 4th disc. As with many other DVD Box sets, go buy this one....

What a great set. - 4.75 out of 5 (11/3/2003)
Thanks Lucasfilm for putting in the time and effort to create on of the best box sets in dvd history. I haven't seen these films in years, and I have had so much fun watching them since. To bad there is no commentaries or deleted scenes. But George Lucas and Steven Spielberg makeup for it with the great documentary, that they show great enthusiasm for the material. Great job, I hope we see the same for the Star Wars movies.
