Empire Review Looks like the special features took a vacation - 3.5 out of 5  (8/19/2003) There was a time when I thought that NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VACATION was the funniest movie ever made. And then I went on summer vacation with several friends. Suddenly it wasn't so funny anymore. But truthfully, can any of us say that we haven't been on a vacation where something or perhaps everything goes wrong. And without beating the subject into the ground too much, can I just add that those are the vacations that we remember most fondly.
