a few days in the world of cyrstal meth - 3.5 out of 5 (8/5/2003)
One thing that movies have always been able to supply to the audience is the ability to go places and see things they never would in real life. The vicarious thrill of living a life that normal social acceptance forbids. This is one reason for the popularity of crime dramas, spy thrillers and of course drug 'culture' flicks. Nice Break From " Comic Book" Movies - 3.5 out of 5 (8/11/2003)
Okay if you thought Daredevil was the best movie to come out this year, then this type of movie isn't for you. If you liked Requiem for a Dream, you should check out this one. Its definetly influenced by Requiem, and some might even say "rip off", but not me. I wish every film maker in Hollywood had the good sense to "borrow" from great films like Requiem for a Dream. Instead of spewing the same "profitable" garbage again and again.
