Empire Review Drop Dead disc - 2.25 out of 5  (7/14/2003) Some wags refer to DROP DEAD FRED as a poor man's BEETLEJUICE. And as far as that description may be apt, the truth is really that DROP DEAD FRED has quite a few fans out there that have been clamoring for the release of the film onto DVD. I however am not one of them. But that doesn't mean I don't like the movie.
