This May be my favorite film this year - 4 out of 5 (7/14/2003)
If you have already heard about MAY, then you can safely believe every word is true. If you haven't heard, then let me be the first to tell you that MAY is one of the most interesting little films I have seen this year.

Excellent, if not the best horror movie of 2003! - 4 out of 5 (7/22/2003)
Though many people will compare this movie to "Carrie," I believe this movie sets itself apart from that film. This movie is like "Carrie" in the way that it tells the story of a disturbed, troubled girl's decent into madness. However, this film puts a totally unique spin on the plot. There is no mind-powers and the viewer experiences much more sympathy to the lead, disturbed character of May (Angela Bettis). The viewer (at least I did) found much sympathy for May in the beginning; I even co
