You gotta represent.
What makes a winner? The boys from Sunset Park High School's basketball team are about to find out. They've got big dreams and they've got the skills, but it's gonna take a lot more to make them champions. When their new coach Phyllis Saroka (Rhea Perlman) turns out to be a woman who knows nothing about the game, thing don't look good. But with a little understanding and teamwork, Saroka and her players will learn about scoring, both on the court and in life.

Somebody asks me what's my favorite Basketball film?? - 5 out of 5 (2/10/2003)
the answer for me comes quick and without even a second thought.
SUNSET PARK.
oh yeah..that one about that small team in Indiana is a good flick too..sure its got Hopper & Hackman and thats it, but it doesnt have the team of characters like Sunset .
These kids are just that.. a bunch of characters. And thats what draws me back to this film time and time again. I never tire of viewing it.

I love Fredro Starr he is amazing at acting and is damn fine too...this movie was definately a hit in my books...i suggest u go rent it. Its killer
