Vacation Thelma & Louise style - 5 out of 5 (6/8/2001)
What are a couple of gals suppose to do when they get together? Gossip, shop, or go for an adventuresome weekend road trip? This tear-jerking yet hilarious 1991 film is about Thelma Dickinson played by the illustrious Geena Davis (Beetlejuice, A Long Kiss Goodnight, Stewart Little) and Louise Sawyer played by "Dead Man Walking, The Witches of Eastwick " famous actress, Susan Sarandon. The two girls go on vacation together leaving their husband and boyfriend behind. While out on this wild road

Get Yourself A Life....And Buy - 3.75 out of 5 (11/11/1998)
Thelma and Louise is a great film, and the disc is really good quality. The alternate ending is nothing exciting at all (and bad quality) but its good to see it. Commentry track is interesting, especially when we find out that the black guy riding in the dessert on the bike was not in the script and was a spare of the moment decision on the directors part.
The menus look nice, some animated scene selections would have been better but not necessary.
If you like the movie, buy the disc....it

Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon are fabulous! - 4 out of 5 (9/21/1998)
Ridley Scott's amazing film about these two women
is wonderful on DVD. This is one of those films
peple either seem to love or hate. I loved it
and throughly enjoyed the DVD. The commentary
by Ridley Scott is very interesting (he talks
about more of his films than this one) and the
alternate ending is interesting (though I like
the theatrical ending better). The alternate
ending is accessed through the DVD menus and
is in pretty bad shape visually (because of
the source material)

A Great Film - 4.25 out of 5 (9/5/1998)
I know most people would not think of this film as a must have on DVD.
I, however thought this was a great and important film that was beautifully
shot. The DVD only adds to the greatness of this film. It has an alternate
ending under special features that is really just a slightly altered version
of what is the actual ending. he true gem of this disc is the commentary track
by Ridley Scott. In my opinion, this is the best commentary I have ever heard.
Mainly because he doesn't just talk
