h - 4.25 out of 5 (5/26/1999)
For those of you looking for a high quality, family oriented DVD, your wait is over. Rugrats fits the bill perfectly.
Paramount has brought it's hit motion picture, Rugrats, to DVD and has done one great job in doing so. The movie stars all of the kids from the Nickelodeon television show (and even introduces a new addition to the family) and sets them off on an adventure of epic proportions. The movie is fun and entertaining for both children and adults.

Not a very good movie and not a very good disc - 2.5 out of 5 (10/29/1999)
I have always admired the Muppets as the seemed they could always entertain with resulting to toliet humor which is already far too rampent in our society. Unfortuntly the Rugrats movie is full of toliet humor and lacks the sweetness of the show's first seasons.
The video is NON-ANAMORPHIC which makes it near worthless to those with 16x9 TVs. This is a shame since it looks to have nice animation otherwise.

One of the worst films ever - 2.5 out of 5 (6/26/1999)
Why did they bother to put this on dvd. This is one of the worst films ever.
At no pojnt does it seem to have the same charm the television series had and the songs just make you want to throw up.
They should stick to making the television series and not bother making more of this rubbish.
