When East meets West, theilaughs shift into high gear!
When Michael Keaton persuades a Japanese auto firm to reopen his hometown's defunct auto factory, he's a hero.
But when the Japanese hire him to enforce their policies among his American co-workers, he goes from hero to zero in seconds flat.
It's manpower vs. horsepower on the assembly line. Salami vs. sushi in the cafeteria. And a head-on cultural collision that's enough to upset the world's balance of laughter.
See how really crazy things can get when Michael Keaton's in charge in Gung Ho - another great comedy by director Ron Howard.

GUNG HO
By the time GUNG HO made it to the theater in 1986, Director Ron Howard was already on his way to becoming a full-fledged legend in the world of film. The working title for the film was WORKING CLASS MAN and that title didn't seem to sum u the culture clash that was the center focus of the final film. I suppose that's w

Funny video - 4.75 out of 5 (9/16/2002)
I am not so sure if I like this movie better than Mr. Baseball, but it sure meets it though. Pretty much I just love how Ron Howard portrays the asian and American stereotypes and make the movie into a masterpiece. Great movie to enjoy for great laughs.

Greate Story, No features - 4.75 out of 5 (7/19/2002)
Let me start by saying I do am not measuring this movie by it's features. This is not a special edition version.
My advice first, rent before buying. It is great but maybe not worth buying. Although I did because I have seen this moive on television, and greatly enjoyed this movie because of the characters and what the movie had to show.
I enjoyed watching this movie on a Sunday. When I am not interested in watching a movie that has big action. Just want to sit down and see a drama blen
