Empire Review The name or the disc? - 3.25 out of 5  (5/18/2002) It's hard not to give respect to a film that has the courage to begin with an orchestral version of "Baba O'Reilly." In fact I have to admit that that one little fact is one of the things I respected most about SLACKERS, and there were some others too. That's not to say the film is a great film though. It's a worn plot that's been used too many times and the high points in the film are evenly balanced with some genuinely creepy moments, and these moments are the ones I can't get out of m   more >> Customer Review DVD omits certain scenes - 3 out of 5  (1/22/2004) I really liked the movie and wanted to own the DVD and was disappointed that they cut out some scenes that were shown in theaters and on TV on channels like Starz. James King plays the girl of everyone's dreams (I know she's in mine) and Jason Schwartzbaums plays the obessessed psycho guy who "has" to have her. Very, very weird. Imagine "Fear" or "Fatal Attration" as a comedy and you'll get the picture.   more >>
