Empire Review Are you offended yet? - 3 out of 5  (7/12/2002) It's hard to believe now, but there was once a time where the film OH GOD offended some people. I recall in my hazy memory that there was a line of people outside the theater that tried to stop me from going in to see the film. The irony of course is that I wasn't even headed in to see that film because it starred John Denver and I was at an age where "Thank God I'm A Country Boy" just didn't do it for me.
