Limited Edition Two-Disc Set
The revenge thriller gets an unforgettable new twist with Memento, an intricate crime story about a man with a damaged memory chasing a murderer whose identity he cannot possibly ever know for sure. Directed by newcomer Christopher Nolan, Memento has blown the minds of audiences around the world by deftly forging a reality in which neither the lead character nor the audience know who is pulling the strings, until everything that seemed true flips upside down. Leonard (Guy Pearce) suffers from a rare brain disorder, the inability to form any new memories, caused by the injury he received in a struggle with his wife's murderer. He can remember in detail everything that happened before that night, but everyone he has met or anything he has done since then simply vanishes--unless he writes it all down. Who are his friends? Who are his enemies? What is the truth?

MEMENTO - LIMITED EDITION - 4 out of 5 (5/31/2002)
The question to ask off the bat is, why has MEMENTO (2001) captured
the imagination and fascination of so many people? Why have the sales
of the film been so strong that Sony decided to released this loaded Special Edition of the film? Why has a film that came out of nowhere
continuously grown in popularity, now being further fueled by director Christopher Nolan's excellent remake of the great Norwegian thriller INSOMNIA? Well, let's take a closer look.
The film is told backwards (more

The Greatest "sdrawkcaB" Movie - 5 out of 5 (10/17/2002)
A movie worth remembering. This is one for those who enjoy a challenge while movie watching. The DVD goes great with the movie. Its puzzling screens mirror the movie and I had to get a navigation guide just to get to the chrological order of the film, that right there is worth it.

One of those rare films. - 4.75 out of 5 (6/7/2002)
Once in a while a great movie comes along... Memento is a perfect example.
Many people say you'll need a cliff-notes to be able to understna dthe storyline... well the storyline is quite simple.
Leonard is a man with a rare and powerful memory disorder... he cannot make new memories. The last memory he made was the night his wife was raped and murdered by a man Leonard is trying to find.
To help us get into Leonard's mind the difector had a terrific idea of making the movie backwards..
