A decent action film! - 4 out of 5 (2/25/2000)
"Air Force One", Huh?
I can handle a movie that stretches the believability factor. I even expect it in an action adventure movie.
But there's a limit to what I can take.
I can handle terrorist's taking over the most heavily armed weapon in the United States. I can handle the hero being the President of the United States. I can even handle the fact that they spend ten minutes fighting beside an open door with wind threatening to suck them out the entire time!

Air Force One (1997) - 4.375 out of 5 (12/17/1998)
The Movie:
Air Force One has been taken over by terrorists and the only man that can save the hostages, and his family, is the president himself.
Harrison Ford stars as the president in this action/thriller that will excite you from start to finish. Ford gives a great performance as the president and it almost seems that he actually has many presidential qualities. The premise behind the movie while believable, is rather unlikely, and shouldn't be the reason to see this movie

Like Passenger 57, Die Hard on a plane - 4.25 out of 5 (6/7/2004)
I loved this movie! It was a Die Hard clone but so what?! The only thing I don't like is the idea that it's both wide and full screen. More features would have been nice. Great movie

ACTION AT ITS FINEST!! - 4.5 out of 5 (5/30/2001)
If you have any friends teetering on the edge, deciding if they should buy a 5.1 system and DVD player, invite them over and pop this baby in and crank it up to the max and watch them fly out of your house to the local electronics store!! This is one of the best action thrillers ever created. The mastermind behind Air Force One is none other than Wolfgang Peterson, one of the best action directors in the industry and his talent and direction is front and center in this action packed flick.
