Empire Review They have weapons! - 3.75 out of 5  (7/14/2003) It took them long enough to release CRITTERS onto DVD. The film ranks high on most horror fan lists for many reason, but my chief reason is that the film flies a middle finger right in the face of so many other alien movies of the time. You have all the classic elements: You have aliens from outer space being pursued by bounty hunters. The aliens come and land in rural America and they are stopped by a heroic teenager who seems to be the only one smart enough to stop them. But Writer   more >>
